Troubleshooting a Multi-Level Insert

Problem: In the device client, the attribute and parameter relationship may not work as expected.

Solution: Perform the following steps.

  1. In the device client properties, select the checkbox Use a variable for the text of the control and click Browse to display the available variables.
  2. Select dept_id and then select Read Only.
