Logging in to Unwired Server

Log in to Unwired Server from Sybase Control Center to access features that you have been authorized to use. Only users assigned to the SUP Administrator role can log in to Unwired Server from Sybase Control Center.

You cannot perform any administrative functions until you have been authenticated by the server you select.

In Sybase Control Center, select the Unwired Platform tab.
Servers that appear in this list have been registered by Unwired Platform (that is, added to the agent-plugin.xml file in the <UAF_InstallDir>\plugins\com.sybase.uepadminplugin folder).

Note: Sybase Unified Agent is installed in either of two places: %SYBASE%\UAF-2_6 (if the SYBASE environment variable is defined prior to installation and the path is valid) or <installation directory>\UAF-2_6.
In the Unwired Servers pane, select the server you want to log in to.
On the Login tab, enter:
- User name – can be a valid Unwired Platform user that is assigned the correct administration role. The default user name is supAdmin.
- Password – must be valid for the user name you provide. The default password is s3pAdmin. The password field is case-sensitive.
Click OK.
Repeat steps 2 – 4 for each additional server you want to administer.

Once you are authenticated, all of the server's administrable objects appear below the server name in the Unwired Servers pane. You can now manage those items as required or administer other instances of Unwired Server for which you have already been authenticated.

If authentication fails, you see a message on the Login tab. Authentication failures typically occur when:

Login credentials are not valid.
The authentication provider is not available and credentials cannot be processed. Start the authentication provider server before logging in again.
The agent service has not been started. Start the agent before logging in again.
