Connecting to Unwired Server Using HTTPS from BlackBerry Device Applications

Connect to Unwired Server from BlackBerry device applications using HTTPS.

Prerequisites 

Enable HTTPS on Unwired Server and import the public certificate into your environment.

This example shows how a device application running on the BlackBerry 8100 connects to an Unwired Server running HTTPS.

  1. Start the device application and access the Profile stock screen.
  2. From the Profile stock screen, check Secure.

    The port number for HTTPS is selected automatically if Unwired Server is running HTTPS.
