Launching Sybase Control Center

Use Sybase Control Center to manage your installed Sybase products using a Web-based console designed for that purpose. Once Sybase Control Center loads, navigate to a console by selecting the appropriate tab.

Prerequisites 

Install Adobe Flash Player (9.0.124 or greater) and Internet Explorer.

  1. If the Unwired Server is not already started, click Start > Programs > Sybase > Sybase Unwired Platform > Unwired Server > Start Unwired Server .

    Unwired Server and other required Unwired Server subcomponents start.

  2. If Sybase Unified Agent service does not automatically start, start it.
  3. Launch Sybase Control Center by clicking Start > Programs > Sybase > Sybase Control Center .

    This option launches Internet Explorer and loads Sybase Control Center with the default URL: https://<localhost>:8283/scc. If you indicated a different port number during installation, that port number appears in the URL. As the Sybase Control Center loads, it verifies the installation and version of Adobe Flash Player.

  4. If the player is not detected, you are prompted to install the correct player.

    Follow the link provided to download and install the player. Once installed, Sybase Control Center loads correctly.
