Securing Access to Sybase Control Center

To secure the administration of Unwired Server in Sybase Control Center, ensure you have enabled LDAP authentication for this administration tool as well as set up the roles and passwords for in the directory. Sybase recommends that Sybase Control Center, Unwired Server, and Afaria all share the same LDAP directory to enable single sign-on functionality among these Unwired Platform components.

    In a production system, you can set up the LDAP provider as one of your security providers, and change the passwords used by the stock set of server roles.
