Database Development

New features have been included for Sybase IQ 15.x support. In addition, Database Development now supports migrating Adaptive Server stored procedures to Sybase IQ syntax, adding bookmarks to a SQL file to quickly find specific statements, viewing and modifying source code for a database view in the View Editor, filtering table columns in the Table Schema Editor.

Procedural Objects Migration wizard Migrate Adaptive Server Enterprise stored procedures to Sybase IQ syntax.
SQL Scrapbook/SQL File Editor
  • Add bookmarks to your SQL files so you can quickly find specific statements in your code.
  • Select the connection commit mode: auto to automatically save changes to the database, or manual to commit changes manually. In manual mode, you can roll back changes for the transaction.
View Editor New Source tab, where you can view and modify the SQL code for the database view.
Table Schema Editor Table column filtering. Use simple character matching and wildcards to display a subset of columns.
