Searching SQL Results

Use the Find/Replace dialog to search SQL results in the SQL Results view.

  1. In the SQL Results view, toggle to text mode and right-click and select Find/Replace.
  2. Select from these search options:
    Option Description
    Find Enter the data for which you want to perform the search.
    Replace Enter the data with which you want to replace the found data.
    Note: This replaces the data of the displayed result set only. It does not replace the data on the server.
    Direction Select from:
    • Forward
    • Backward
    Scope Select from:
    • All
    • Selected Lines
    Options Choose the search criteria:
    • Case Sensitive
    • Whole Word
    • Regular Expressions
    • Wrap Search
    • Incremental
  3. Click the appropriate button.
    Option Description
    Find Click to find the data.
    Replace Click to replace a selected instance of the found data.
    Note: This replaces the data of the displayed result set only. It does not replace the data on the server.
    Replace/Find Click to find and replace the data.
    Replace All Click to replace all instances of the data.
  4. Click Close when you are finished.
