Table 2. Subscription: Article & Publication
Property
|
Description
|
Without Purge
|
Have Replication Server leave rows replicated by a subscription in the
replicated copy. This preference is selected by default. There are three
options for this preference:
-
Without
Suspension — used with the
without purge clause. This option does
not suspend the Data Server Interface (DSI) when the subscription is dropped.
-
With
Suspension — used with the
without purge clause. This option
suspends the DSI after the subscription is dropped so that you can manually
delete subscription rows. This option is selected by default.
-
With Suspension at Active Replicate
Only — used with the
without purge clause. In a warm
standby application, the standby DSI is not suspended. This allows Replication
Server to replicate
delete transactions from the active
database to the standby database.
|
With Purge
|
Select this preference to
have Replication Server remove rows from the replicate table that were
replicated by a subscription. There are two options:
-
Incrementally — used with the
with purge clause. This option
specifies that deletes are made 10 rows at a time.
-
Nonincrementally — select this option for nonincremental deletes. This option is selected by
default.
