About Sybase Control Center for Replication

Sybase Control Center for Replication is a Web-based solution that replaces Replication Monitoring Services (RMS), a middle-tier server, in monitoring the status and availability of servers in a replication environment.

Sybase Control Center for Replication allows you to monitor large, complex, and geographically dispersed replication environments. It lets you search, sort, and filter servers and component objects to support a larger environment than what the current Replication Manager and Replication Monitoring Services can handle.

Sybase Control Center for Replication provides status information at a glance, using server dashboards and a heat chart for displaying the availability or status of a specific server. The server dashboards display high-level information, such as server version and platform. The server dashboards also display critical performance counters to aid you in troubleshooting replication performance.

In addition to the dashboards, Sybase Control Center for Replication provides a topology view that graphically display the servers, the connections between servers, and data flow in the environment. Graphs and charts are also available for monitoring performance counters.

You can set user roles to limit access to different features and servers in your environment, therefore providing better data security.
