Problem: Cannot launch Sybase Control Center.
Solution: If you tried launching Sybase Control Center with the URL or with the shortcut installed to your desktop, but the Web console does not appear, or behaves unexpectedly ensure that:
- The Sybase Unified Agent service is started. This service is a common agent used by many Sybase products and helps to manage Sybase components. If there is a problem with this service, you can also check the
<installation-dir>\UAF-2_6\log\agent.log file to see what other information may help you correct agent service related issues.
- SSL is enabled correctly, if you are using it. Alternatively, the certificate you are using for that purpose may have problems.
- The version 9.0.124 or greater of Adobe Flash player is installed. For example, an incorrect version may not represent the Unwired Server tree vie correctly. To check the version, right-click Sybase Control Center and choose About Flash Player 9.
Note: You cannot install the Flash player correctly with Remote Desktop or VNC tools. As a result, the Sybase Control Center will not load correctly via Remote Desktop or VNC.
