The ECDA uninstall process does not remove the Windows service. After you configure ECDA Option for Oracle as a Windows service, you must remove the service using the steps described in section “Installing a DirectConnect server as a Windows service” in the ECDA Option for Oracle Server Administration and Users Guide.
