Unlike prior releases, Sybase does not supply drivers with ECDA Option for ODBC to provide connectivity to non-Sybase target databases, such as DB2 UDB and Microsoft SQL Server. You must obtain a separate license from IBM, Microsoft, Data Direct, or other vendors, for the ODBC driver that is needed on the particular platform where ECDA Option for ODBC is running.
For ECDA Option for Oracle, the connectivity to Oracle is included.
