Replication Server Options

Replication Server Options may consist of a Replication Agent™ and either Enterprise Connect™ Data Access (ECDA), or ExpressConnect (for Oracle or HANA DB). You must have Replication Server to obtain Replication Server Options.

Replication Server Options are available in these data-source-specific versions: for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 Universal Database (UDB), and SAP HANA database. See the Release Bulletin for Replication Server Options for Linux, Microsoft Windows, and UNIX for details about supported platforms and compatible Replication Server versions.

ExpressConnect for Oracle

You can use ExpressConnect for Oracle (ECO) if you have a licensed Replication Server and have purchased Replication Server Option for Oracle, which includes the additional ECO license. See Obtaining ECO Static License in the ExpressConnect for Oracle Configuration Guide.

ExpressConnect for HANA DB

ExpressConnect for HANA DB is installed with Replication Server. There is no separate installer for ExpressConnect for HANA DB. For replication to HANA DB, use the license key that you generate for your product during installation:
  • SAP Sybase Replication Server, option for SAP HANA, or
  • SAP Sybase Replication Server, SAP HANA edition
