The Admin Service of DirectConnect for z/OS Option changed from previous versions to read and write encrypted passwords to the user.pwd file. Previous user.pwd files are not supported with DirectConnect for z/OS Option 15.0 and later, and using them results in administrator login failures.
Workaround: Reenter the Administrator IDs and passwords from previous installations to the new Admin Service.
