Accessing the Driver Setup

Use ODBC Administrator to access the driver setup.

1. From the Control Panel, click ODBC Administrator.
2. Select User DSN or System DSN (recommended) and, if you are configuring:

   • A new data source, click Add. (New DSNs are required for releases that contain driver updates.)

   • An existing data source, select the data source name and click Configure.

3. Select the ECDA SQL Server wire protocol driver.
4. Click Finish.

   The ECDA SQL Server wire protocol driver provides several dialog boxes where connectivity and other options take place.
