SAP Java Virtual Machine

Replication Agent requires the SAP Java Virtual Machine (JVM).

Because Replication Agent is a Java-based application, it requires an SAP JVM on the host machine. SAP JVM is installed during the Replication Agent installation. For more information about SAP JVM, see the SAP Help Portal. A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) appropriate for your operating system is automatically installed when you install the Replication Agent software.

Operating system patch levels must be current to support Java SE 7. See the vendor documentation to determine which patches are required for your platform and for current information about JREs for your platform:
