The SAP Sybase IQ server engine
logs messages to several log files which are created each time the server is
started.
On Windows servers, the server log files are located in the
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Sybase IQ\logfiles
directory.
- iq_startup_nt.log—records
server startup parameters only
- <server_name>.00n.srvlog—where n is the
number of times the server has been started
- Other server messages are sent to the server console window
On UNIX and Linux servers, the server log files are located in
$IQDIR16/logfiles.
These server log files have 4 digit numbers.
- <servername>.000n.stderr
- <servername>.000n.srvlog
