A dbspace is a logical name for a container of files or raw partitions
called dbfiles.
Catalog and IQ main stores may consist of 1 or more dbspaces. The IQ
temporary store consists of only one dbspace.
Note: You must be licensed for the
IQ_VLDBMGMT option in order to create more than one user dbspace per
database.
