Creating a Repository Group

You can create groups on the Users and Groups tab.

  1. Click the Users and Groups tab and click on Groups on the left of the screen to display the list of groups.
  2. Click New, select to create a local or remote group, and enter a group and full name.
  3. [optional] Enter an email address and/or a description for the group.
  4. [optional] Click the Members tab and add any appropriate users to the group (see Adding a Member to a Group from the Group's Property Sheet)
  5. [optional] Click the Rights tab and assign the group any appropriate rights (see Granting Rights to Users and Groups)
    Note: Rights granted to a group are inherited by its members. If a user connects to the repository without access rights, he cannot see any document in the browser.
  6. Click Save to create the group and return to the list of groups.
