Creating an Analysis Rule Set

You can create your own rule sets, which are then available from the List of Impact and Lineage Analysis Rule Sets.

1. Select Tools > Resources > Impact and Lineage Analysis Rule Sets to open the List of Impact and Lineage Analysis Rule Sets, which shows all the available rule sets.
2. Click the New tool, enter an appropriate name for the rule set, and select the appropriate type of rule set.
3. Select a rule set from the Copy From list to create a new rule set that is identical to the original set apart from the name.
4. Click OK to open a Save As dialog, enter a file name and then click OK to open the new rule set in the Resource Editor.
