Installing Client Machines

Once you have created the administrative install on the server, you can set up the client machines. The client install modifies the registry of the client machine in order to be able to reference the files located on the server, but does not copy any file onto the client machine. Consequently no space is required on the client machine.

  1. On the client machine, open Windows Explorer, connect to the network location where you have created the administrative install and double-click the Setup.exe file.

    The welcome page is displayed.

  2. Click Next to open the license selection page, select a license type, and then click Next again.
  3. Define the appropriate installation parameters on the following pages, and then click Finish to begin the install.

Depending on your working environment, Setup may ask you to reboot your machine.
