Text indexes are supported for IQ (v15.2 and higher) and SQL Anywhere (v12 and higher) to enable fast full text searching.
You create a text index by creating a standard index (see Creating an Index), and selecting the type TEXT. For information about the properties specific to text indexes, see Object Extensions for Sybase IQ.
