EAServer 5.1 includes support for the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), which includes an SNMP master agent from J.AgentX. This replaces the functionality provided previously by Java AgentX.
The graphical user interface has also been updated. The Web Console plug-in allows you to browse the MBeans and services installed on either your local server or a remote server using a Web browser. You can add and modify MBeans and services using wizards, rather than by editing XML. The console also allows you to set properties and invoke methods on the MBeans, and start, stop, restart, and refresh services.
