You can install EAServer 6.2 as a new installation, or as an upgrade to an EAServer version 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.2, or 6.1 installation.
The EAServer migration tool enables you to migrate a subset of entity types from a 5.x repository to the 6.2 repository, saving time by scanning only those entity types in which you are interested. For details, see these books on the SyBooks Online Web site:
