IIS 6.0 Web server redirector plug-in

If a client attempts to access the IIS root location; for example, http://www.numberOne.com, and the system is configured to redirect this request to http://www.numberTwo.com, the browser erroneously displays the default page in the root location.

Using the IIS 6.0 Web server redirector plug-in on Window 2003 requires that you perform configuration steps not currently described in the Installation Guide—see “Chapter 4, Installing and Configuring a Web Server Redirector Plug-In”.
