Before re-running the silent installation, uninstall the previous installation using the graphical or silent uninstaller. For graphical uninstaller instructions, see “Uninstalling EAServer”. For silent uninstaller instructions, see “Silent uninstaller files”.
If your installer was not configured correctly, or you abort the installation before it completes, the uninstallation process may fail. In that case, clean the previous installation from your machine as follows:
Delete the EAServer installation directory and subdirectories.
If you made a backup copy of the ~/vpd.properties file, restore it. Otherwise, delete the ~/vpd.properties file that was generated during the installation.
Make sure the JAGUAR environment variable is not set in the shell where you re-run the installation.
