Embedded SQL version 11.1 and later is completely ANSI SQL-89-compliant. Therefore, it is compatible with other precompilers that conform to ANSI-89 standards.
To run programs created for precompilers that are 11.1
or earlier, you must use a System 11 or later precompiler and make
changes, if necessary. For details, see “Backward compatibility”.
