To add a message to the text table, follow the format of other messages in the editable member AMD2CAMT, and observe the guidelines in “Rules for text table entries”.
To avoid message processing errors, be sure to add any new messages to all the SYRTMAMT entries in use at your installation. For example, if both United States and German customers can use the DB2 UDB Option for CICS, add all new messages to both the U.S. English and the German message sets. If a message number exists in a SYRTMAMX entry but not in the SYRTMAMT entry for the specified language, “Error 33231”, in U.S. English, is sent to the client application.
