Severity Code Reference

Replication Server error messages begin with a letter that indicates the severity of the error.

Description

I

An informational message. Error messages with a severity of ā€œIā€ contain only the date and time the error occurred, and the full text of the message.

W

A warning about a condition that has not yet caused an error, but may require attention, for example, running out of a resource.

E

An error that does not prevent further processing, such as a site that is unavailable.

H

A Replication Server thread has died, for example, a lost network connection.

F

Fatal. A serious error caused Replication Server to exit. For example, if you start the Replication Server using an incorrect configuration, you are likely to receive a fatal error.

N

Internal error, caused by anomalies in the Replication Server software. Report these errors to Sybase Technical Support.

T

A trace message.
