You specify trace flags when you run the diagnostic versions of the Replication Server (repserver.diag). By turning on traces and examining the output of sysadmin dump_queue, you can determine the component in which replication has stopped.
If replication stopped in one of the following components, see the corresponding chapter or section:
Primary data server – Chapter 8, “Data Server Interface Problems”, and Chapter 9, “Adaptive Server Log Problems”.
RepAgent – Chapter 7, “RepAgent Problems”.
Outbound queue – Chapter 4, “Route Problems”, and Chapter 8, “Data Server Interface Problems”.
DSI thread – Chapter 8, “Data Server Interface Problems”.
Custom function-string class or customized function strings – Chapter 8, “Data Server Interface Problems”, or “Using trace”.
