Before installing Adaptive Server version 15.7 SP100, ensure that
your system is updated with the latest patches and system requirements. Do not use a patch
that is earlier than the version suggested for your operating system. Use the patch
recommended by the operating system vendor, even if it supersedes the patch
listed.
Sun Solaris Requirements
All Solaris systems support the TCP protocol. Platform system requirements are:

Note: Adaptive Server supports the 128-bit Zettabyte File
System (ZFS) on Solaris 10. To guarantee data integrity, set DSYNC
or Direct IO on. You can turn DSYNC or Direct IO off only for
temporary databases that do not
require recovery.
