Upgrading to a New Version of Adaptive Server

This workflow describes the tasks involved in upgrading to Adaptive Server version 15.7 SP100.

1. Determine your upgrade eligibility, plan your installation, and review system requirements.
2. Depending on the version you are upgrading from, run the preupgrade utility to prepare Adaptive Server for upgrading.
3. Upgrade Adaptive Server.
4. Perform postinstallation (post-upgrade) tasks.
