Create the identity file that contains the concatenation of a certificate
and its corresponding encrypted private key, and that is understood by the
SSL Plus software.
Prerequisites
Verify that you have the system administrator role before performing this task.
Task
The name and default location of the identity file is the following, where
servername is the name of the server as specified at start-up:
$SYBASE/$SYBASE_REP/certificates/servername.crt
- To place the identity file in a different location, specify the alternate
location in the RS_ssl_identity entry in the configuration file.
- To make a successful connection, the common name in the certificate must
match the Replication Server name in the directory service.
Client certificates are not supported.
