Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)

Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is the Internet directory protocol. LDAP is a protocol for accessing and managing directory services. The LDAP support replaces the interfaces file for UNIX and the sql.ini file for Windows. This means that the connection information normally stored in an interfaces or sql.ini file can now be stored in an LDAP server.

You must have an LDAP server running. Also, you need to verify that the port number of the agent on your server machine is added to the LDAP server.
