DBIOWDESC

Description

(UNIX only) Provide program access to the UNIX file descriptor used by a DBPROCESS to write data to the server.

Syntax

int DBIOWDESC(dbproc)
 
DBPROCESS    *dbproc;

Parameters

dbproc

A pointer to the DBPROCESS structure that provides the connection for a particular front-end/server process. It contains all the information that DB-Library uses to manage communications and data between the front end and server.

Returns

An integer file descriptor used by the specified DBPROCESS to write data to the server.
