RepAgent requires 256 bytes for each open transaction. Transaction
cache memory is allocated in 2K chunks. As transactions are committed
or aborted, free memory is placed in a pool which must be used before
new memory can be allocated.
RepAgent requires memory for the maximum number of open transactions.
If sufficient memory is unavailable, RepAgent shuts down.
At start-up, Adaptive Server allocates 2048 bytes for a hash
table.
