Distribution by Filter

If you select the distribution by filter model in a Multi-Path Replication™ environment, you can distribute data through the available replication paths, according to the value of data in one or more columns from a row in a single primary table.

With distribution by filter, you define a filter based on values in a column and then bind the filter to a specific replication path so that RepAgent only sends row data through the path that meets the filter condition.

Note: You must enable multiple scanners before you select distribution by column filter.

Replication Filters
Replication filters qualify rows for a replication path based on the search conditions that you have defined in the filter clause.
