Replication Server supports SQL statement replication in Adaptive Server which complements log-based replication and addresses performance degradation caused by batch jobs. Sybase recommends that you use SQL statement replication when:
DML (data manipulation language) statements affect a large number of rows on replicated tables.
You have difficulty altering the underlying application to enable stored procedure replication.
