Uninstalling in Console Mode

Uninstall Replication Manager in console mode.

  1. At the command prompt, navigate to the installation directory and enter:
    $SYBASE/sybuninstall/ReplicationManager/uninstall -i console

    The uninstall program starts.

  2. The flow of the uninstall program is identical to a regular GUI uninstallation, except output is written to a terminal window and responses are entered using the keyboard. Follow the remaining prompts to uninstall Replication Manager.
Note: You may be prompted to decide whether to remove files that are created outside the installer. Sybase recommends that you do not remove these files.
  3. If you are uninstalling the Replication Manager plug-in from Sybase Central, Java Edition, and you have previously installed both the Replication Manager plug-in and the Adaptive Server plug-in to Sybase Central, Java Edition, unregister the Replication Manager plug-in inside Sybase Central. See the Replication Manager plug-in online help.
