number of checkpoint tasks configures parallel checkpoints. The value of number of checkpoint tasks must be less than or equal to the value of number of engines at start-up. The maximum value is limited by the value of the configuration parameters number of engines online at startup and number of open databases, with a maximum of 8. The default value sets serial checkpoints as the default behavior.
