The client installation CD supports interactive, console,
and unattended installations. Perform all pre-installation tasks before you install the client.
Stop any servers currently running in the installation directory.
Mount the drive, if necessary.
Running the Installer
The Sybase IQ installation media supports GUI, console, and unattended (silent) installs.
Setting Environment Variables
Open a terminal and set the environment variables required to run Sybase IQ. The shell scripts that set these variables also set the variables needed by Open Client.
