Check with your vendor and apply the latest operating system patches. Do not use a patch that is earlier than the version suggested for your operating system.
On AIX 7.1, the minimum O/S requirement is AIX 7.1 TL 1 SP2. Customers running AIX 7.1 TL SP0 or SP1 must install SP2 to resolve an issue with the JVM. See http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1IV12285 for details.
