Minimum system requirements for installing Adaptive Server ADO.NET Data Provider.
You must have the following installed on your machine:
For development – NET Framework SDK 2.0 or later and Visual Studio .NET 2005 or later
For deployment – NET Framework 2.0 or later
Adaptive Server ADO.NET Data Provider consists of provider assembly files that are referenced by the client code.
Sybase.AdoNet2.AseClient.dll – supports features of .NET 2.0, .NET 3.0, and .NET 3.5.
Sybase.AdoNet4.AseClient.dll – supports features of .NET 4.0 and later.
The 32-bit versions of these files are installed in the C:\Sybase\DataAccess\ADONET\dll directory and the 64-bit versions are installed in the C:\Sybase\DataAccess64\ADONET\dll directory.
