Identify the primary Adaptive Server and the replicate Adaptive Server. The primary Adaptive Server manages the primary database and the replicate Adaptive Server manages the replicate database. For setting up a test environment, install identical copies of either the pubs2 or the pubs3 database.
Make sure that both Adaptive Servers are up and running before you configure Replication Server.
