Installing a New License Server

The SAP Sybase IQ Server Suite installation media includes SySAM Network License Server utilities you can use to install a new license server.

Prerequisites
Task
  1. Insert the installation media into the drive.
    If the installer does not start automatically, mount the drive, then enter: 
    <DVD_mount_directory>/setup.bin
  2. On the Welcome screen, click Next.
  3. Choose an installation directory, then click Next.
  4. Choose Custom as the installation type you want to perform, click Next.
  5. Unselect all installation options except SySAM License Utilities.
  6. Select SySAM License Server, click Next.
  7. Review the installation summary, then click Install.
