Running iqunload in schema unload mode (iqunload -n) lets you connect to an existing IQ 12.x server, and generate a reload.sql script that contains the entire schema for your 12.x database. You can run this script against a new Sybase IQ 15.2 database to recreate the schema of the legacy database. Running iqunload in schema unload mode lets you:
Verify the correctness of the schema by applying it to a new Sybase IQ 15.2 database.
Estimate how long the actual migration process should take.
Schema unload mode is not supported for Sybase IQ 12.6.
Use Sybase IQ 12.7 ESD 5 or later to use this option.
