Sybase IQ 15.0 uses the Sybase Software Asset Management (SySAM) licensing mechanism that provides system administrators with a means to enable and monitor their site's use of Sybase products.
Sybase IQ includes separate SySAM licenses for each product edition and separate licenses for any optional features available for that edition. For more information, see Chapter 2, “Licensing your software” in the Installation and Configuration Guide for Linux.
