MAF Skinning

The Mobile Application Framework delivers native UI controls. These controls can apply metadata-driven styles, or skins. Component skinning occurs at runtime, without requiring you to recompile or re-sign the application. The end result is company-branded mobile UIs for MAF-enabled enterprise application users.

• Dependencies and Project Setup
  To use MAF skinning feature in your applications , add the com/sap/mobile / maf/ ui /android/ MAFUIComponents (maf uicomponents .jar) library, and the mafuicomponents -res android library project file, to your project.
• The MAF Skinning Mechanism
  MAF controls inherit the standard behavior from the native controls. MAF modifies only the appearance of the controls. The MAF skinning mechanism uses a simple text-based configuration that lets you rebrand or reskin applications without requiring source code modifications.
