Installing RSME Components

Install each RSME component separately, following the instructions in each component's installation guide.

Be aware of these considerations:

  • Before you install RepConnector 15.0.2 ESD #7, one of these application servers must be installed and running on your local machine:

    • Red Hat JBoss AS6 running with JDK 1.6

    • Red Hat JBoss AS7 running with JDK 1.7

    • Oracle WebLogic version 12c (12.1.1) running with JDK 1.7

  • Install Replication Agent for Oracle on a machine from which it can directly access the Oracle redo logs and the archived redo logs.

  • Install Replication Agent for Microsoft SQL Server on a machine from which it can directly access the SQL Server transaction log files.

Note: If your primary database is Adaptive Server, you need not install Replication Agent.
