License Requirements

RSME uses the Sybase Software Asset Management (SySAM) licensing mechanism for license administration and asset management tasks.

After you purchase RSME components, go to the Sybase Product Download Center (SPDC) Web site at http://sybase.subscribenet.com to generate and download the licenses. See the SySAM Users Guide.

• Installing Static License for Replication Agent
  Install, in RSME, the SYBASE_RSME_RAX.lic file that contains a valid SySAM license for Replication Agent component.
